The Catholic Newman Community at the Rochester Institute of Technology seeks to foster a vibrant faith-based environment, embracing the sacramental, intellectual, and social mission of the Roman Catholic Church. We do so in a richly diverse and dynamic university setting by celebrating the sacraments, building communal life by welcoming others as friends, and reflecting Christ’s love and compassion to the vulnerable among us. All of this is accomplished as we advance the Catholic intersection of faith and reason for human and spiritual growth. Newman welcomes students, faculty, staff and community members from around the world to grow lasting relationships rooted in Christian values.
